Lola was one of a kind. We worked together for 12 years until I moved away. We still kept in touch though. Felt like we never parted. Lola and I had many laughs and sometimes some tears too. Lola was always ready with a hug and a smile if you needed it, an encouraging word or a hard truth even if it wasn’t what you wanted to hear. She did it all out of love. We had many conversations about God, scripture and church. I don’t know if anyone ever knew that she always carried a little Gideon Bible in her purse and she would bring it out and read a few scriptures. Lola a wonderful person all the way around. She loved her family and friends with her whole heart.. I loved her deeply. I am glad that she has been wrapped in the arms of Jesus and is in no more pain or sickness. I can hear her laughing with joy as she stands on the streets of Heaven and is reunited with Donnie and Becca.
I love you Lola and you are forever in my heart and mind.
