Kena Boyd departed from this world on January 5, 2021, in Tyler, TX. Born from the union of Albert Lee Lewis (father) and Elizabeth Lewis (mother), she lived a life that reflected the life of a true humanitarian. She was the mother of two children: Keshia and Archie Jr., whom she loved dearly.
She graduated from Dubach high school in 1980. She later on became a CNA at Curry’s Nursing Home, where she retired after 30 years of employment. Kena could also be found serving as a missionary at Unity Church. She served faithfully there until her death.
Proceeding her in death is her mother, Elizabeth Lewis, her nephew Nathan Womack, baby sister Luciana Redd and Archie Boyd Sr.
Kena leaves behind to cherish her memories, her father, Albert Lee Lewis; her children Keisha Allen and Archie Boyd, Jr. and son-in-law LaBrandon Fomby; grandchildren Dekevian Byrd, A.J. Boyd, Shakalyn Allen, De’Asia Allen, Alaiah Boyd; her brothers, Ronald Coulter; Albert Lewis (Patsy) of Dubach, LA., Timothy Lewis (Tina) of Acadia, LA; Prentiss Lewis (Lisa) of Monroe, LA., Yeauvester Jones of Dubach, LA; her sisters, Ollie Womack (Nate) of Ruston, LA; Bentia Mayfield (Jeff) of Monroe, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
