Brenda”Murphy” Evans was born to James and Earline Murphy on October 23, 1962 in Clarksville, Tx. Brenda excepted Christ at an early age. She attended school until the 12th grade at Clarksville High School she later received her GED. Some time later she met Russell Evans and two children came from this union. A great deal of her life was spent over the road as a truck driver which she loved. She continued her career at Georgia Pacific for many years until her health failed. Murphy enjoyed spending time with her grandkids as well as family and friends. You could catch her playing cards with her favorite partner Madea. Murphy had a heart of gold and never meet a stranger. Murphy was preceded in death by her husband Russell Evans, her dad James Murphy, her brother James Murphy Jr., her sister Glenda Chalmers, and her grandson Ty’Keylin Frazier. She leaves to cherish two sons: Toborrance Murphy(Candice) of Cason,Tx , Jasmine Murphy(kisha) of Dallas, Tx; two daughters: Kayla Lynn(Arayas) of the Lake O’ the Pines, LaTasha Evans(KoKo); her mother Earline Murphy of Clarksville, Tx, two brothers: Leon Murphy of Texarkana, AR, Mark Murphy of Dallas, Tx; seven grandchildren: Toborrance Murphy Jr., Jaylynn Miller, LaKeyia Robinson, Jy’Keelin Frazier, Janiya Murphy, Arayas Lynn Jr.; one great grandson: Bless Edney and a host of nieces, nephews, and relatives.
